Steven Kings

Steven was born in Worcester and went on to study at St John’s College Cambridge and the Guildhall School of Music in London. He has a busy freelance career which encompasses composing, performing at the piano, teaching and conducting.

His compositions are many and varied and he has been shortlisted for a British Composer Award. He has recorded as a solo artist and an accompanist and regularly performs chamber music across the country.

Steven is the musical director of the Thornbury Choral Society, as well as the assistant musical director of the Bristol Choral Society and the BBC National Chorus of Wales. He also conducted the Bristol University Singers in 2008-9.
