What an opportunity to experience Dvorak's magnificent choral masterpiece with one of the world's greatest choral conductors!
Composed in tragic circumstances after the separate loss of all three of his children, Dvorak's Stabat Mater is a profoundly moving and compelling work, cherished by all who know it. Adrian Partington, Director of Music at Gloucester Cathedral and Conductor of the Bristol Choral Society amongst others, will lead this choral day with the enthusiasm, knowledge and inspiration with which he is internationally renowned.
You must book early for this date, we are expecting high demand.
Scores will be provided, elementary music-reading skills would be beneficial.
Tea and coffee will be provided free of charge and lunch is also available
Entry to St Monica is via a security-code controlled door. This door will be manned from 9:40am, before which time you will not be able to enter the building. Please do not arrive before this time. Thank you.
