This course is for those who are interested in solo singing and would like some professional feedback. If you have always wanted to sing on your own, but have struggled

to find the courage, taking part in this friendly workshop could give you the boost you need. As well as working on general vocal technique and voice care, we’ll be looking at strategies to help conquer performance nerves and trying out some key performance skills to help you look and sound fantastic when you sing! Sessions consist of a mixture of group learning and individual guidance from the tutor. You don’t need to be able to read music notation to take part but be prepared to sing on your own in front of the group.

Note: You should bring a song (with notation/chord chart or backing tracks accompaniment) that you’ve been working on (Backing tracks preferred.)

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided free of charge.

All courses at St Monica Trust take place in the Main Hall. For a 10am start, the security-controlled doors will open at 9:40am. Please do not arrive prior to this.
