Sing Vivaldi's Gloria

We were delighted to welcome Nigel Perrin, one of the original King’s Singers and now an internationally-renowned choral director, to lead our first ever event in the Autumn of 2009. Nigel led nearly 70 participants in Vivaldi’s Gloria, one of the best-loved choral masterpieces, and its wonderful sunny sounds were brought to life by Nigel’s enthusiastic and experienced direction. We were joined by two professional soloists, Charlotte Newstead and Alison Bell for the afternoon session and, as everyone’s confidence grew, the church resounded to the joyful sounds of Vivaldi’s music.

Everyone had a fabulous time, and left fulfilled and looking forward to our next choral day – Sing Dvorak’s Stabat Mater with Adrian Partington in Spring 2010.
